On my project list for the spring is to replace the galley faucet with a single handle, pull out faucet. I think it'll be a lot easier to use and look better too.

Something like this....

Very similar to what comes from the factory on the 318.

Fast forward to tonight. I'd really like to get a single handle faucet/shower combo for the head, but I've yet to see one that would work. On an '08 260 Sundancer at the boat show this evening, I saw just that.

Here's a picture from Sea Rays parts diagram showing the faucet.

Seems like an upgrade from the two handle version currently on my 268.

Has anyone done something similar? I remember a thread from last year regarding galley faucet replacement, but nothing about the head faucet. I checked and the 318 has the same head faucet as on my 268...

I too some day will replace both fixtures.
Plumbing is plumbing, in the house, boat or RV. I have look at replacing a faucet in the RV, parts are 1/2 the price and so many more choices at home depot vs the RV parts house.

I will buy a nice fixture where ever and make it work.

Good luck and post photo of your mods!!

Anyone know what size the hole in the galley countertop is?

Menards is having a pretty good sale, so I'm going with this, a Moen Renzo.

It needs an 1 1/4" mounting hole though.

Good news. It fit in the factory mounting hole. I had to get a 3/8 to 1/2" adapter for the plumbing though.

Dennis it honestly wasn't hard at all. Took 10 minutes, not including the trip to Lowes to get the adapters. We could easily do this when we meet up, I know which adapters we need!

On a side note, we might have to make a trip to the Horseshoe casino...as my wife has never been to one.
