Any ideas on what to do with this?

I picked up a piece of conduit I was going to glue in place like jsimon did, but our storage compartments are set up differently. Now I'm thinking of getting a bigger section of pipe and cutting it in half length wise to keep my two spare fenders we keep in there off any water that'll be in there. There isn't much, just enough to occasionally get them wet.

Any ideas?
