I have a 5.7 GI-I with a DP-SM outdrive. I am trying to find anodes and exhaust bellows for the outdrive and am having a hell of a time. Is the DP-S the same as the SM or anything else, and is the DP-SM a uncommon drive, it's not listed very often in the parts descriptions.

Apart from the lower unit, the SX and DP-SM are identical (apart from the badge on the cover!); the only "odd" thing you may come across is a DP-SM MHP. For that one, the only difference is the transom shield. This shield has 2 anodes, compared to the 1 and uses a stub type exhaust hose attached to the transom shield only. The other type of exhaust hose, attached to both the transom and tilt assembly is much quieter. If you're converting from the stub type, you'd need the large internal circlip as well as the hose itself ( that clip fixes it to the tilt assembly).
