Hello,
I am getting intermittent alarms on my 288:
- after being run for a while
- when pulling into a slip where I am taking it in and out of gear
All guages are okay
Alarm stops by itself in 4-5 seconds
I checked connections on risers and other connections - all seems fine
Starboard engine only

Any suggestions?
Thanks

I was educated on this today while at my mechanics. It could be an alarm for the lower unit (not enough lube), fuel pump regulator issue
(fuel heats up to an unsafe temperature) or engine overheating. They stated the alarm is very loud. I have not heard it yet thank God.
