i've got a 99 298 vista; at times, the holding tank gauge shows only full. i'd like to find the sender and check if it's fouled and sticking, but i've had no luck. any idea where it is and how to remove it would be appreciated. thanks, eric.

you can try cleaning it...fill your tank with water and ice and some tide soap. Take it for a spin with some turns then pump it out. smoetimes that cleans the sensor and gets it working, however, the majority of the time it doesnt. the OEM gauges and sensors are poor quality

Did you locate the sender? I suspect it is under the plywood section in the engine compartment just above the waste tank to the right of your batteries. The waste tank is located in the center line of the boat.
