Well after a long week of putting her back together, getting it registered, new registration stickers and name and getting her in the water, we had a great first weekend.

As i have heard stated "there is no replacement for displacement" . I had to make a 10 - 15 mile trip form where it was launched to our home marina in 2 -3 foot chop. It was as though is was flat the way it handled.

The additional space is very nice, and it official we love air conditioning!! 8)

Here she is in the slip.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention, not sure how word travels so fast but it seem every one in whole dang marina knew I was upgrading, so when I pulled into the marina its like everyone was wathcing make my first docking, or at least it seamed that way :) , anyway, pulled it off flawlessly.. talk about a bundle of nerves though.

Congratulations Jeff !!!

Nice upgrade that should hold you and the family for the next little while. Glad to see that all is working out for you.

HA! Especially stern in. First time I was bringing my crownie in to our slip, someone from the dock asked if I needed help, I yelled "Sure! Never done this before!" Well that brought everyone running!! That's always the most stressful part of the trip!

Congrats on the new boat. I am considering an upgrade to the 318 from our current 268 and would be interested in getting feedback from you once you have settled into the new boat. After a couple of seasons with the 268 we are looking for more space and flexibility offered by a larger vessel. Since your upgrade is also from the 268, I would be interested to hear about the pros and cons of your upgrade. Enjoy the new ride!
