My wife was wiping down the head over the weekend and just brushed over the light. With Murphy's law in effect the cover fell off and the lens in the cover shattered. Have any of you found a replacement cover for these lights? I've searched online but I'm not real sure what brand of light is in the boat.

While we're on the subject there was a thread going about replacing these lights with LED lights but I don't recall anyone posting about how the replacements turned out. Can you simply pull the existing light out of the socket and put in a LED bulb or do you have to replace the entire light? When I mentioned this to the admiral she was against it because she thought the LED light would be too harsh. From what I read you can get the LED light in different colors so I think a warm white light would work but maybe that's not available.

Not sure on a source of the light, but on the LEDs they should just go in vs. the standard bulb. Believe it or not...its not on my to do list.

I would hope customer service at Four Winns could give you the manufacturer and part #. Or even a local dealer should. Monterey does.

The Best cabin light lens is Mini halogen lamp - A halogen lamp with lacquered brass attractive switch. Can be mounted on the wall to provide decent work light 20W, making this a popular reading light.

Chris, if you are not a master glass cutter you could cut and sand a piece of plexiglass to size. The OEM lenses are glass and just kinda pressed in place. I believe the brand is Nova. The Four Winns P# is 026-0368-02, and the Nova P# is NOVA8777WH. Four Winns appears to show that the light may not be readily available. I found some Nova LED lights on the following site. http://www.salvinco.com/NovaLED8777 On this page I noticed that the lumen rating on these lights for warm white is 170, bright white is 190, etc. Keep in mind that these LED lights are polarity sensitive. If the light doesn't work just try turning the bulb or switching the wires to change polarity.

Thanks Gary, I did change the ones in the cabin. Tight fit, but look great, thanks for your help. I didn't have any tools with me to pop the aft cabin covers off. What does it take to get the cover off the anchor light? I figured the lens would twist off, but it didn't. I did see a screw on the base of the fixture, does the whole thing come off! It was 60 yesterday, but the rain wasn't great. Went to the boat to check some stuff out. Everything still good, the days are getting longer!

The aft cabin lenses can be removed by prying with a small flat screwdriver between the lens and the fixture. Work it easily around part of the circumference and the lens will come out. The lens caps on the Attwood and Perko anchor pole lights I have seen can be unscrewed to access the bulb.

I ended up going with these lens for replacement https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/4329/ ... =WORKLIGHT The diameter is correct, I hope the thickness is close. I will get out to the boat and mess with the anchor light hopefully this week, hope it twist off this time

I was able to get the aft bed lights(2) and the head lights (2) changed today. The hardest part was getting the aft bed covers back on.... here is a pic of the anchor light, I could not get the cover off. I twisted to no avail Thanks for all the help, one last part to go on this little project

Is that an LED anchor light? Some of them are a sealed unit. I took the p# from the Four Winns site and saw that it was $35 or 40 on ebay. Does the anchor light work?

Anchor light works, can't really get a good look at the lamp inside. That would make sense that it was sealed if it was LED...

They still worked and look the same as far as the frosted finish. I have a spare, just in case Murphy comes to visit
