You can download you Fourwinns manual from the Fourwinns site.

You may want to check here for other manuals:

jrcinnh, thanks, I have almost all the manuals now. Interesting thing when I called Four Winns and spoke with Brian (great guy!!), he said that the 2007 manual was the last manual printed for the 378 as they knew the product line was ending...so I downloaded that manual, then went thru the 458 Vista manual and printed all the IPS related pages and did a substitute (since the systems were the same)
Anyway, here are some more pics of our new boat. Our hardtop will be reinstalled the week of 8 NOV, looking forward to that.

Well...big update! On last Friday we got the hardtop installed! Took off the shipping shrink wrap, and worked all day on small items and the hardtop. It took 4 of us 5 hours to get it lifted, aligned, wires re-run, bolted, and cauked! Can not wait to see this bill!

But as I was installing our stainless fender mounts on the bow rails, I noticed that the cable was hanging loose on the stbd side??? After checking around I found this!

After the shock of finding that...then I found this!!!

So there is a fair amount of gel coat damage, and the obvious stainless steel damage! Called the selling dealership and they were responsive! Surprising since it has been 4 weeks since the boats delivery. But sent them date stamped pics of us taking off the shrink wrap and then this damage, and they are going to process the claims thru the transport company. So no in the process of getting two welding estimates and gel coat repair estimates. So we will see what happens.

so I have a question for you guys...since I have to get the bow rail repaired, I was thinking about installing bow rail LED lights that shine down on the deck...I think Four Winns is offering these as an option for the 475 Vista this year...they are pretty cool looking, nice accents while on the hook, marina, or slow cruising.

Has anybody installed these yet? If so, was installation difficult, are you happy with the results...

Planetalternative installed microstar bow rail LED's. He can give you the details. Meanwhile you can see
it all unfold here.

Thanks Cap'n for the link. I guess I could have done a search and found it...I have to quit being so damn lazy!

I was told that the entire bow rail may need to come off for this stainless weld repair...so it would be the perfect time to do this modification...so we will see when I get the estimates back when we can do the repairs, and then I will make time to spend a day drilling...wiring...fitting...etc...

I only hope it goes as easy for me as I did for Planet!

No worries about the laziness mode. It's pretty common around here. I just seem to have some of this stuff still in my memory, and get lucky when I find it so quickly. But like you say, it is there if you look hard enough.

Good luck with the mod, it is a cool idea, but not something I would have the patience for, as I fear Mr. Kearney did not either.

I think you will love the power combo. I had the pleasure of running the same boat in Lake Meade and those IPS drives are amazing. Great peformance and nice fuel economy. Docking is a breeze even in a breeze!
