Does anyone know what type of product to use to re-glue or re-seal the plastic blower vents on the sides of the hull. I notice that the original caulk or glue has rotted off due to the sun.

Thanks for any help.

Are you referring to the actual vents, or the cover over the vents? On my 245 Sundowner the vents have a thin layer of silicone on the flanges; just as well, as the holes in the hull are too big and the mounting screws screw into nothing! The covers have foam rubber strips, unfortunately the originals were "inboard" of the 3/4" mounting holes in the hull so they provided no seal from water ingress whatsoever.

I'm referring to the plastic vent covers on the outside of the hull where the air exits the engine compartment.
