I received a West Marine gift card for Christmas and I've been attempting to put together my list of wants and needs over the past few days. The wants far outnumber the needs and I almost feel like the needs should just come out of my cash since they are needs....whereas the gift card should be for wants. Here's the wants list in no particular order...any feedback and what to move towards the top? I figure I can hold out until spring and catch things as they go on sale.

TV antenna - boat came with the mount and wiring, but no antenna for some reason
Stereo upgrade - current one does not have aux input or USB connection
LED lights inside and out
Deep cycle battery (previous owner installed 3 dual purpose batteries - maybe a need?)
Stainless steel latches for the transom trunk
Upgrade rode to longer chain and rope (have about 150' now with only about 10' of chain)
Flare kit (have flares now but not the fancy kit with all different kinds plus the flare gun - maybe a need?)
BBQ kit dedicated to the boat to go with the grill
Welcome mat for the swim platform while docked

I know there's more but those are the items on my mind right now. What am I missing? Any input on ranking them?

Definitely the Flare Gun and the Batteries are the most important ones which you probably took care of since this is an old thread but I threw my two cents in for you. 8) Joe in Miami

My 298 came with a Shakespeare antenna and it is worthless so you better check with other boaters in your area before investing your money. However, I boat on a lake that has a lot of hills around it so that may be the issue.
