2.6.16 update -

it's been a long, long search but the right one has finally come along. I was in boat heaven last weekend in fl for my seatrial. I decided I wanted a 2009+ as there were numerous big dollar improvements made after 2008.

70,000lb lift a bit small framed.. The sling locations are extreme since they can slam the IPS against the transom.

Maybe he's just teasing....

What's with the extended swim platform that looks like it's 8-10 feet long?

I'll be posting many pics in the coming weeks/months. I'm going to be removing the pods and the arch/electronics to bring her north, over the road. 50' of black gelcoat... can't wait

Thanks guys. Went to the AC show yesterday and got a pretty good deal on JL speakers for the cockpit. Of course it has the original sony's which are all crumbling apart. Just to replace them I got 4 MX650's and then two MX770s in titanium for the transom. I think I gave 515 out the door for the speakers yesterday. No clue what the factory power distribution is to the topside system. I'm hoping my friend in NJ who has an 08 will know. Theres a 10 or a 12 in the port side seat cavity. Below it has 3 zone Bose surround sound w/ a sub in each zone.
Boat is still in Fl so I'm taking an educated guess on some of this stuff. Next up - Ray widescreen (at least one to start) and tilt/pan thermal camera. Don't want to be mowing down crab pots in the bay with the pods.. even with the linecutters. The newest model widescreen they don't have an adapter plate to fill in the gap that will be left by the e120 classics. So I might just go with the prior model hybrid widescreen. They improved the knob and added "pinch zoom" on the new e127 but for almost 2k difference, and the lack of the trim ring adapter I'll probably go with last years model.
Good news - all the oil samples came back with no discrepancies. No trace of water in the pods which actually surprised me. She does have a high pod pressure on one side which a certified VP IPS tech will be investigating this week. Other than that, all good.

Great news that all is going so well. I still have the parts list we discussed. If you ultimately decide you need any of those items (or I can track down anything else for you) please just give Gary or I a call. Again -- congratulations Mike H............. Hawks Yachts
