Just gathering up some parts in the off season and am wondering if any one can tell me how long the thru hull fittings are. I need to put one in the bottom of the hull in the bilge are and one out the side of the hull in the aft cabin. This is for a 2000 248

Thanks in Advance

its hard to say unless someone has done it on that boat. however pretty much any marina or boating store will have lots in stock in both plastic and the different metals for whatever you need.

I should have pics at home of both the bilge thru hull and the side one as well.

I would definately go with stainless steel and not plastic. What sizes are they offered in?

All lengths are 2-3/4" thru 3-1/2"

The first one is an Attwood part....66546-1

The second is a Perko 322 005

Second down on this page, http://www.boatfix.com/bypartnokey.ASP? ... tem=&make=

Although this looks like the same part..

The valve appears to be a
4726K12 from McMaster-Carr which they say was replaced by a 4726K24.

Looks like a plain 3/4" bronze ball shut off valve to me.

Sorry to hear about your dealer. I have a great dealer...sure they can help once they get back from winter break.
