The standard-height windshield, which will include a slightly longer hardtop and a more traditional piece of clear vinyl to fill the gap when needed. It looks much better, even in the artists's rendering above with the shorty windshield. Still needs some work on that cockpit galley concept IMO.

Does anyone think that Four Winns is getting mighty proud of their 'options'?

On that 305...

Generator -- 16,000+? Seriously?
Electric Grill - 1200? Aside from placement, you could do a very nice Magma for 25% of that...
Navigation package -- 18,000? this must be a typo.

Dunno how that breaks down compared to previous years models and their prices, but that's a pretty penny, to be sure.

1200 for a an electric grill, one that will REQUIRE the 16k genset. Versus $250 for a Magma and a $3 bottle of propane. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Our Magma is on it's 5th season and still looks pretty much new. I've probably spent no more than $50 on propane. Makes shelling out that much more for an ill-placed electric grill look like a phenomenally poor investment.

Still, the other aspects of the boat are interesting. Always good to see new developments.

It seems "what old is new again".
No more rounded windshields...back to the squared off look. Didn't that change in the 80's (or even 70's)? Makes winter covering a little harder due to the sharper angles.

Sorry, just not a fan of this boat at all. Looks like it was designed in the 70's.

IMO, if Four Winns isn't careful they are going to fall way behind the competition in design. I love the Four Winns brand but if they follow through on their plans to incorporate these "innovative changes", they'll lose me as a customer when it comes time to upgrade. :(

Wish my son wasn't on the phone while we were on the highway today. I saw her on her way to Miami. Wrapped down to below the water line....if I had my camera I would have turn around and followed for a bit to get some pics.

Get use to this design, it's coming to the whole line....

From what I have heard, it depends on how the reaction to the new V305 is at the show.

That is ridiculous. No way in hell one show, one set of reactions, will sway what Four Winns already has planned.
Modifications and subtle changes , maybe.

You need a hearing aide, or stop listening to what dealers tell you. Wait and see for yourself.

Well, thats it then, my next boat will definitely not be a Four Winns.
IMHO, they were once the leader in vessel design however, it's easier, faster and less expensive to build "square" rather than "round", all at the cost of the great flowing lines they once had.

My personal guess is that a few models will be like the 305, and a few will not. They have the 305/435 similar, I could see one more model going that route if they get a positive feedback on this 305.
