Getting ready for spring and am going to change the oil in the lower unit. 2003 DP-SM. Question 1: Anyone know the part numbers for the replacement o-rings? My VHF died and I am getting set to replace it. The dash panel is easily unscrewed, however, I need to remove the steering wheel (tilt) to fully remove the panel. The tilt lever seems to be in the way. Question 2: Any idea how difficult this process will be and any idea how long it should take? Thanks all...... |

DP Parts list here/schematics and part numbers here. http://www.marinepartsexpress.com/vp_sch_fs.html Why do you need to remove the wheel ? Just remove all the screws from the panel, and rotate the panel to take out the radio. Some unplugging of switches, cables etc. may be required. |
