Just Picked up are new boat (2000 268) having trouble with the norcold fridge , works great on AC power but every time it goes to 12V it blows 10 amp fuse at the helm any one have any ideas ? Thanks. |

Although I dont know this to be sure...it would seem to me that a 10a fuse may be a little light for that fridge. See if you can check into your specs in the owners manual to confirm this being the proper fuse rating. http://www.norcold.com/HOME/CUSTOMERSUP ... fault.aspx |

Just looked at fuse panal and it says 10amp ref. Rite on it so i think the size is correct |

Pull the fridge out, it's real easy to pull out. Make sure it's clean and look for any loose or broken wires. We were having problems with ours being noisy and not cooling well. A good cleaning and resetting it in the cabinet has made it work like new. |
