Glad you got in the water. I wish we had that weather for our launch. Only mid 50's and 20mph winds forecasted for this friday. it will have to do.

Nice. How far up the bay are you? We're down by Annapolis in the South River.

We are at the head of the Chesapeake Bay, up in Cecil County, MD. I haven't even looked at the water temp or gas prices. I want to enjoy it for a few days. :)

You guys are giving me "Splash Envy" ! I get to look forward to laying on my back applying bottom paint this weekend. That should warm me up for Washing/Waxing the following weekend. Then some routine spring maintenance from our marina and in she goes.

You may as well drive down here to touch up mine!

Since we have a narrow window here for launch, which is tomorrow because it's the only day in two weeks without rain and 30 mph winds, the storage yard is swamped. Everyone wants in tomorrow. Saturday the wind returns and Sunday is rain. They will try and get our boat in, but will advise if they can't. Most boats around here that are in slips are launched by this time of year, but with this crappy weather, hardly anyone is in.

Don't you mean "drive up there"? We are just starting to get our weather "down here" to warm up and you want me to drive up Wisconsin? Are the ice huts off the lake up there yet? :)

It'll be interesting at our marina this Saturday as well. I'm betting there will be a lot of activity with guys trying to get work done to their boats. Most boaters in our area are a little behind this year due to weather.

With all the tornado warnings, high winds and high tides...I am not so sure I should have put her in so early. :) I've checked on the boat and lines twice now. Happy Hour Friday, on the boat, should alleviate all the stress... :)

I too sometimes think of Canada as "the great white north" when compared to most of the US. Just happens that where we boat, we are about as far South in Canada as you can get. Detroit, Michigan would be pretty close to how far South we are.

If you ever find yourself "down" :) our way, please feel free to call and have a drink or two with us at the boat.

Splash today looks 'iffy' at best. They just have too many boats ahead of me to launch, and not enough time.

We put in last Wednesday, and spent our first weekend on the boat. Weather was crappy, but it still was awesome to be back on it! :D
