When I turn my air on there is water coming out the starboard side, however, air is not coming out the vents? Any remedies/solutions?

Sounds like your blower fan is inop. Do you hear it running before or during the time your compressor is running? Any error codes in your display? Have you looked at any basic troubleshooting in the manual?

No error codes. The blower sounds like it is trying to run when the compressor is on, however, it does not cut on (just humms). It will work intermittently. I can come back to the boat the next day and it works. I have not looked at the manual though.

All I can think of is your blower motor may be going out. Maybe try calling a Marine AC dealer and see what they say? Not sure of the placement on a 298, but you should be able to gain access to the unit itself fairly easy to see whats going on.

Regular fan/blower (most likely)or squirrel cage ? If it's an EFB blow thru model, Cruiseair ( which was bought out by Dometic) may no longer make those. You can remove the fan/blower and get a replacement at Grainger for much less than a marine distributor will charge you, that is if they can even get one.

Is this happening in heat or cool mode? What control do you have?

If AC works and heat doesn't, it could be low suction pressure. When the control detects low suction pressure, the control lowers the blower speed to a snails pace to try and increase suction pressure and will not let you over ride the blower speed.

This could explain it working one day and not another.

Good point above...have you cleaned your sea strainers? If not, check them. They are located in your aft cabin under the middle mattress section. Turn off the sea cocks, unscrew the covers via the wing nuts and pull them out and clean them. There is one for the genny and one for the AC and they are marked which is which.
