Was out on the lake today, put the boat on the hook for a couple hours, went to start it up, nothing.

Thought the battery's were dead cause the radio was on the whole time not the case. The ignition switch/gauges

do not work at all. You turn the key and no double beep, fuel pump prime nothing. All a/c functiond operate normally.

DC you have everything except the horn and the main panel gauges. fuel trim tac, etc... Checked all breakers and batt

conections good. Any ignition cb's or dash panel cb's that are hidden?

Had to be towed home by my wife in the horizon, lots of laughs coming from shore. Any reccommendations will be helpful.

All you can do is look at the wiring diagram (you can download the manual/wiring diagram from FW's site) and see what things that doont work have in common and start tracing from there.

I had a similar (but different) issue last season, everything worked but when I turned the key on no beeps or fuel pump prime so no start Luckily it happened at my slip, but it was pretty much dead so I had to fix it. Started tracing all the wires back to the engine/ECU and the relay/fuse box on the engine wasnt getting the 'key on' voltage. Turned out to be the weird round connector at the rear of the engine that connects the boat wiring to the Penta engine harness. It didnt look dirty or corroded, freshwater only boat, but all I did was unplug it, clean the contacts, plug it back in and its been fine ever since.

Not the same problem as yours, if you pull out the fusebox at the helm all the main feeds and ground buss is right there on the fuse panel itself. There are also a couple of large connectors between the dash panel and main harness, all behind the fusebox, It could either be a power or ground issue. Only hidden fuses I have found on mine are a couple inline fuses behind the battery switch for the battery charger.

I made the most amateur of mistakes that anyone could have made, the kill switch was still connected but not on
tight enough to make the connection to the ignition. I had every access panel open and just about every wire bundle
out to try to isloate the fault.
What threw me off was that the horn didn't work as it was on a different connection from the ignition. It was just
coincidental that the horn malfunctioned at the same time. I fixed it as well just had to polish up the connectors.

You arent the first to make that mistake, the horn thing threw me off as well, glad you got it fixed and it was something simple.
