Post subject:  Light Suggestions?
Hey guys, Would like to install a directional LED spot/flood light (s) in my hardtop. The hardtop only has 2x of the halogen puck lights, and does not provide much interior lighting towards the rear of the cockpit. The hardtop is aluminum, and thus difficut to cut holes into. I was thinking about mounting on the surface 1 or 2 LED directional lights so I can illuminate the cockpit table and entertainment/sink area. Has anyone seen or have a good, bright light that would fit the bill? I was thinking something like this:

At the West Marine site, it does state that it is LED light. But it claims too "Bulb Wattage: 31W". If it is a LED light, the wattage is a misprint.

You may want to check it out before buying??

right, i see only 1 LED into that light, it cannot be 31 watts: with one LED you can hardly enlight few cubic inches of space.
Look: to have a just satisfactory light on the outside table, for onboard evening life, we bought a 25 LEDS light that works with 6 DC batteries type AAA, and this gives, as written, a just satisfactory light.

That is exactly what I thought...31Watts for LED? Anyway, I am going to check it out at the store, and have them hook one up to see the brightness. Thanks for the input.
