Identify this piece of canvas.

This is part of the canvas that came with the boat. It's about 4 feet long.

You just unclip the two straps on the back of the bimini, move the rear bow to the lower set of holes, fold it forward and zipper that little piece on. I tried a while ago and it does work, never used it after that though..

Not sure sure if its exactly the same on a 298.

Almost forgot, you have to lengthen the rear straps some as well to clip them back on after you move the rear bow, thats what takes the most time.
