i need to replace the sea water pump. it comes with a 5 ft cord. Does it run to the ac unit itself or the ac panel switch. Also can i just splice it to the old cord, getting wet would not be an issue. it looks like a pain to run it to ac unit. |

Nathan, The wires coming from the a/c pump wire directly to the a/c unit. Tape the wires to the wires of the old pump to pull them thru the firewall. There is a small electrical connection box towards the top of the unit and It's held on with a couple of screws. Once you remove that panel you just strip the ends on the 3 wires and insert them into their individual recepticles (blk/grn/wh) and lock them in by tightning a small screw. It's actually alot easier than it sounds. Good luck! |
