My 1996 Vista 238 didn't come with a microwave installed although the wiring and breaker on the shore power were all in place. I installed a 700 watt Emerson microwave which trips the breaker as soon as it is run. I believe I just need to get a higher amperage breaker switch for that outlet but don't know where to look for the part. Any ideas?

corrosion inside the breaker panel, maybe? Did you pull out the main breaker panel to check? maybe it's just a bad breaker for the M-wave? It can look ok, but stll be bad....last week my pool filter gfci got fried from a thuinder/lightening storm--looked good, but no good....replaced it and it was fine.....same thing could happen on the boat too.....
