My 1996 Vista 238 didn't come with a microwave installed although the wiring and breaker on the shore power were all in place. I installed a 700 watt Emerson microwave which trips the breaker as soon as it is run. I believe I just need to get a higher amperage breaker switch for that outlet but don't know where to look for the part. Any ideas? |

corrosion inside the breaker panel, maybe? Did you pull out the main breaker panel to check? maybe it's just a bad breaker for the M-wave? It can look ok, but stll be bad....last week my pool filter gfci got fried from a thuinder/lightening storm--looked good, but no good....replaced it and it was fine.....same thing could happen on the boat too..... |
