Hi All

I'm new to this forum so please treat me gently for a while!

I am about to buy a 1998 238 Vista with Volvo 5.0Gi duoprop (140 hours). The boat is lying in the UK where I think it has spent most of it's life. I'm intending moving it to the Italian Lakes for a more sunfilled and sedate way of life (I must feel sorry for it!).

I would be very grateful if any of the good people on here can give me pointers regarding the vices and virtues of this boat.

Many thanks in advance.

AB

Funny story....when I was looking at the boat Vista we bought, it turned out to be owned by a fellow forum member.

Buying a bigger one, or giving up due to the lousy Summers here over the last few years ?? (that crossed my mind several times !)

Neither. I turn 60 on Saturday and had a heart attack a few weeks ago. My wife says it's time I started acting my age and not my shoe size (she's wrong of course). I will miss the boat that's for sure.
