I picked up one of those a while back as well, it works pretty good for its size I thought, I have used it as a regular stove too since the one in the cabin is electric only. Your mount looks pretty stout, I just clamped it to the bimini upright, but I cant cruise with it on there of course. ![]() |

The boat's previous owner put that rod holder there. It's a pain because it prevents anyone from opening the cooler lid without pulling the cooler out. I could remove the rod holder, but he mangled the fiberglass so bad underneath, that I just decided to leave it alone. I have enough projects going without adding fiberglass work to the list. I purchased the rod holder mount and 8" extension. Seems to work fine, but as you indicated, definitely don't want to be underway with it mounted. I was impressed at how rapidly this grill gets hot with the radiant plate. I had gotten use to cooking hot dogs on the dock with an electric grill. Takes 20-30 minutes on the dock. The Magma takes about 5 minutes and flames are shooting out from the drippings. ![]() Craig C. |

I thought hard about getting the pedistal mount. In the end, I decided against it because I was afraid the kids would burn themselves if they were swimming (getting on and off the platform). Is it sturdy? Craig C. |

Everything tastes better when cooked on a boat. Here we have one of our favorites....boat ka-bobs. Other items normally found on the grill include boat burgers, boat dogs, and the ever popular boat brats (as in bratwurst...not bratty kids). ![]() |

Like noted previously, it heats right up and cooks food in no time. By the time we're done eating the grill is cool and then the kids are back in the water. I've found ours to be very sturdy though we do have to take it down when cruising. |

I have mine hanging over the water so no chance of anyone burning themselves getting on or off. I was going to put it on the platform with a pedestal but laziness got the best of me ![]() But yea it heats up quick and cooks fast, even in the wind. The first propane bottle has lasted about 15 cookouts now, I cant believe it isnt empty yet. I bought one of those magma bags that holds 3 cylinders and hang it on the bow rail, you dont want one of these things leaking in the cockpit or cabin, propane hangs around for a while and goes down.. |

Craig C. 50.00 is a steal, I impulse bought mine at WM but was able to price match them down from 249 to 210.00 for the A10-207. There is a few different ones including old and new versions and pricing is all over the place so do some research before you buy. |
