04 248 Vista - Spot light and lighted toggle don't illuminate however the light does rotate. Are there two fuses for these (Guest) spotlights or should I start chasing wires. I assume that if the Spot bulb was fried that the toggle would still light. Any thoughts? |

You need to take a volt meter to see if the socket is getting power. |

Not exacty the same, but mine worked on day and not the next. the breaker wasnt tripped so i chased the power lead and found a fuseholder in the dash that came apart. this fuseholder was in the harness from guest and even though FW has thier own breaker they left that in behind the dash! GRRRR. It wasnt a 30 minute fix either, had to take the dash apart to access it. |

FWIW, Last year I had this same issue on my current boat. I believe the same Guest light etc. Turned out to be the actual lighted toggle switch went bad. They run about $5. See . . . http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/29 ... spot+light |

Thats the art of trouble shooting. You need to start at the breaker and work forward to see were the power stops. Or work from the socket back, to see were you do get power. |
