So my generator suddenly stopped working. I turned it on an hour after and it turns on fine. But no water is coming out of exhaust. I see a lot terms thrown around here. This will be the first time I will be servicing a generator. I have a 358 vista with a Kohr. How can I change the impeller or check the impeller? Is there any where I can get an error code from the generator in the engine bay area. Please help needed from experts here. |

There's an access panel that will unclip on the bow side of the sound shield. Impeller is right in there under the 4 bolts. Be sure and get all broken impeller vanes out or it won't get proper water flow with a new impeller. Look up the manual online or checkout YouTube for more details. I'm sure someone has a video of it being changed. The Kohler 5E and 5ECD are identical save for some electronic controls. |
