Does anyone know who the manufacturer is for the companionway door on the 238, or the 248, 258? It's the door that folds and is the entryway to the cabin.

You mean the door for the walk through transom? It's probably made in house at Four Winn's it's just King Starboard (love that stuff!) You can probably order the pieces from Four Winns. Or you could order a sheet of Starboard and make it yourself. You can cut Starboard with wood working tools, table saws (fine tooth blades) you can route it on router tables, you can notch it, shape it, sand it, bevel it etc.

Now if you mean the cabin doors, those are made out of thick Arcrylic and again, probably made in house, and can't be cheap!

The Cabin door I can understand, the transom door would be so easy to make in house it wouldn't make sense to outsource it.

The cabin door has to cost a mint to replace. And due to it's odd shapes, making one at home would be very hard (at least if your using Arcrylic) I would imagine wood would be easier to work with.

Check out my post, my door is split. I found a company in baltimore that will do a one off replacement. I pulled the door for them to use as a template. He just did a hatch for $150.00

FYI the oem door is $600, $900 if you want the screen door with it for the 248. I took one look at it and figured somebody would do it better for much less. Now you could also have it solvent welded but I decided it was better to just replace it with new.. Let me know if you want their contact info.
