So, rather than pay $600 for a new one, I'm going to have a company make me a 1 off for a fraction of that. They say it can probably be solvent welded but it's better to make a new one. Anybody happen to know how to remove the lock/latch/handle.

I think the prior owner overtightened the snap screw for the screen door. So.. don't let this happen to you!

Arcrylic is a great material for a door, I like the door.. But I do NOT like how they "snap" together. The snap is far too tight and if stressed too much, well we know what the outcome is.

I am thinking some 3M SuperVelcro may be a better solution.
