I was able to work out an amicable trade on my '06 204 Funship (19hrs) and pulled the trigger on a brande new '06 (0 hrs) Vista 278.

I've got the slip lined up and the dealer is prepping it as we speak. We're hoping to go out next weekend, or sooner, if all goes as planned.

We're very excited!

We loved our Funship, but also loved the Vista since the day we saw it in the showroom. We're ready for a while new kind of boatin experience now.

Congrats and have fun with it. I remember when I got my Vista. I was so excited, but had to wait 4 months over trhe winter to actually get it. Delivery day came and it has been a blast ever since. You will love being in the slip as well. The marina life can be alot of fun with the right group of people.

Thanks, we're very excited. We're currently on vacation about 1000 miles from home. What better way to end a vacation than to come home to a vacation on the water!

I'll post some pics when we eventually get it in the water.

Congratulations. I'm sure you will love the 278. We are waiting for our 258 to come in. Slipping your boat is great. Best of luck. :D :D

ShanMan14 and Jnizi, Congratulations to Both of You! Welcome to the wonderful world of Vista Cruising!

You are "right on" when you mention that you are ready for a whole new kind of boating experience now! We owned a 215 Sundowner for 10 years before trading on the 268Vista. We absolutely loved the Sundowner and it was truly wonderful for us, but the experience with the Vista has been a different kind of wonderful that I could never have imagined.

Best of Luck!

Congratulations! What a great boat.

I know excatly how you're feeling. Our dealer just called to let us know our new boat had arrived from the factory. We'll be in the water in two weeks.

Enjoy it and have a great summer!

Scots.

Scots. Best of Luck with That! As much as I Love my 268 I wish I had gone for the 288 back in 2004! That extra beam width makes a world of difference! I can't wait to see some pic's from all of you guys!
