I'm 6'3" tall and I'm a little concerned about fitting in the V-berth to sleep. The original intent was to have our two children sleep together in the mid-berth but I'm wondering if I'd fit better the other way around?

Trying it out in the showroom isn't the same as sleeping overnight, so I'd love to hear from anyone tall who would like to share your experiences.

We intend to spend weekends on this boat!

Hi: I'm 6'3" as well, but have a 288. However, I did try lying down in a 278 and 268. I found the mid berth better in both boats. On my 288 I
still sleep in the mid- beth and my son sleep in the v.
Enjoy your boat!

I have a 2000 248. It's a much smaller V-berth, and I just barely fit. I am 6'2" My guess is that you will be just able to sleep comfortably.

Feet toward the bow, I assume?

Yes.. Head to aft. My wife have slept this way on several occasions.
