Our new (to us) 01 298 doesn't have the fill in cushions for the stern seating. I would assume they would have come with it when it was new, or was it an option? The manual states " fill in cushions are also provided to extend the cushion area for such things as sunbathing, napping or overnight sleeping." Where I can order these cushions? |

Before you buy it....make sure it's something you think you will really use. We have one for our boat, but it stays in my dock box at the marina. We haven't yet been out on the boat and had a need for it. I suppose if you were staying overnight onboard and wanted to sleep outside, it could be nice. |

We keep ours in constantly due to us having young children and there is less risk that they might fall off. Plus, we will occasionly set a flat screen tv up by the cockpit sink area and it makes a great couch to lay on and watch. |

Yeah I was just thinking about having it for when we have guest staying the night on the boat. I will look in to prices then see if it's worth it. I do have a bit of experience with upholstery work and I have an upholstery shop close by so maybe its something I can take care of myself. Thanks |

I guess it's worth it to some folks due to different circumstances. I am interested in hearing how much the dealer quotes. I'd bet my right nut it's north of $250. ![]() Craig C. |

Last year at this time there was a filler cushion for a 298 on eBay. |

I paid $800 from Four Winns for the aft fill in cushions for my last boat, a 258 Vista! ![]() |

Technologic80 wrote: ... $800... Ouch! Has anyone needed to rebuild the L-shaped rear seat on a Vista? Mine rotted at the hinges (the plastic sheet that wraps the foam kept the 3/4" ply perpetually wet), so I used the original as a template, cut another and assembled the backrest and fill-in shelf to it. The foam on the backrest is also dusting, so I'll take some shots of what's left of it to use as a guide and find an upholsterer. The fill-in cushions are in great shape, naturally, since they were rarely used, but I imagine they'll also need to be redone to match the new scheme the upholsterer creates. And then, the helm seat, its backrest and the gunwale bolsters. It never stops... |

Try http://www.winnisquammarine.com. They are a Four Winns dealer. I ordered the bow cushions and the entire decal package for my H220 and Tracy was right on the ball but yes the price was up there ![]() |
