I need to place a plaque with my documentation numbers somewhere on the boat. Does anyone have a good idea where and how to put this plaque so that it follows the Coast Guard documentation rules on a Vista ? The plaque is on order from the documentation company and it is made of wood. |

If the 338 engine compartment is anything like our 318 then look to the complete stern of the boat above the engines and the trim tab resevoir tanks and you should see a "shelf" which is basically the top of the outdrive pocket. I epoxyed a home made cherry plaque that I routered there....fairly easy to get to. |
