| My 2007 318 has the strainers located in the rear Aft under the seats that turns into a bed at night. There are two strainers; 1 Genny, 1 AC. The Genny has the typical wing nut configuration, but the AC has a flat top with a big ass square on the top. Anyone with this set-up, how does it open? I don't have any tool closely resembling that opening. I'd post a pic but don't have the ability too right now. Perhaps someone has a pic to share with the forum, cause I'm stumped. Cheers | |

| Try spinning the the bottom half off, it may be tight because of the O'ring in it. | |

| Both of my strainers are the same. They have the big square on top. I just used a small pair of channel locks and the top comes right off. The strainer comes out the top. | |

| I have the same setup as JSimon. Just unscrew the tops with a pair of channel locks. | |

| Ditto, my 07 318 has the square fixture on the top, just used a pair of channel locks and they came right off. The screen come out the top and a little toilet brush action, clean and ready. | |

| Much thanks, I just wish they would have used the same set up for both. Again some poor design flaws. Cheers | |
