Well, the season has ended for us here in MN

School, Kids football, work = no boating. Pulling boat next week, winterization, and starting to save for next season. Hope all Four Winns owners had a great boating season this year, and cant wait for the next year.

I can't believe how short the season really is. I know my wife will be hesitant to go out on the water, because it will be too cold in 22C weather

Still feels like it just started. It went way too fast.

I'm planning to haul out after the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend - last year it was a beautiful weekend and I still hold out hope for this year.

Not yet people, still very good boating to be had! Think of all those wonderful fall color cruises! We like to cruise some of the lower Trent system in the fall because it's very protected and anchoring out gets iffy towards late September sometimes. We typically pull our boat in mid-October.

Our Marina offers heated indoor winter storage, which is the best thing ever! Did this last year. There's nothing like waxing and tinkering with the boat when it's below freezing out and snowing. I live only 3 minutes from the storage facility. I just go to the marina to get a key, it's priceless.

Getting close for us also. Was at the marina today and they were already pulling some bigger boats out. This weekend's weather looks bad. Next weekend will be it. Give her a wax, change the oil and they will put it back in the rack for her warm winter nap.

Between soccer, football and football...we would not have time to use the boat anyway. It has really been an awesome summer.

I thought all you guys were insane until I checked the weather of your locations. That's crazy. I'm sad about this summer though, I missed July/August... the two best boating months (even here). I would almost say that 2012 kinda sucked cause of that. I am getting excited though, I can't wait til Oct. when the night temps start hitting the 60s. I'll be doing a LOT of weekend get-a-ways this "winter". Let's see if I can make up for my loss!

We're done too. Dropped the boat off on Tuesday. When we lived in Michigan we would boat into October but the geography and logistics of our current situation calls for a different approach.

I'm fortunate that my indoor storage has 2 doors. One for all the other boats and one for mine so I can lay up when ever the ice tells me I have to. I was luckey this year since our lake didn't completely freeze over and got to splash on March 31st. If we have a nice autumn, I might get 8 months in this season

Without a doubt. I envy you Northern boaters who actually have good leaf color to view. Even for us North Georgia boaters, a nice sunny 50 degree day with some color in the leaves and a quality cold German beer makes a great outing. We want pics of those Northern leaves so don't quit boating!
