Hey guys....this has probably been replaced by something newer, but does anyone know where I can find one of these strainers. It's threaded on both ends, which is really what's important to me so I don't have to change any additional plumbing. ![]() |

I replaced the same strainer this past spring without having to change any plumbing. I will take a picture and post with details tonight UPDATE: I ordered with some other parts from Winnisquam Marine last winter. Shurflo makes the strainer and is readily available online. ![]() ![]() |

My old strainer was similar but broken. I replaced with a newer one (can't remember the brand, Shurflo?) at West Marine. The new one has threaded fittings but the filter is removable without taking the water lines apart. Sort of like a sea strainer. Might require a bit more plumbing but way more functional if you need to clean it. Update: The new one I bought is very similar to the one Special K bought. Mine just had female threads on both ends. |

All I actually need is the screen that goes inside....dropped mine in the lake today while cleaning it. |

Can't you just buy some screen at the hardware store and cut to size. ![]() |

I've never seen that strainer in my boat, so I'm curious - what's it for? Is that from the hose connection or maybe the before the pump on the fresh water tank? |

It's in between the fresh water tank and fresh water pump.the first place to look if you have low water pressure. |
