What do i do? The hurricane dropped a tree on the right side both the curved and wing pieces. Water Bonnet and Four Winns say they don't supply it any more. iBoats wants to charge for a whole windshield assembly (2K) and I just want to get it back in the water. Is there a boat salvage yard that carries a lot of four winns? Ours here in Southern VA don't mostly bayliner, etc. HELP!!! Just want my boat back!! Thanks

Check in Ft. Lauderdale, FL the boating capital of the world. Someone down there has got to have a contact. They must have huge boat junk yards.

Did you ever have any luck finding a windshield. I just spent the day working on my boat and noticed that most of the powder coating on my 248V windshield frame is starting to flake off and it looks like complete crap. I need to get this fixed immediately because it is driving me nuts. Anyone have any idea if I can buy a new windshield frame for a 2001 somewhere?

Jay,

Don't you think it would be substantially cheaper to remove the windsheild assembly, pull the glass, and send the frame out to be stripped and re powdercoated? Trust me it's a no brainer, a frame "if" you could get it, would cost many many times more than it would to have the frames refinished! :)
