Post subject: | V318 Sleeper Sofa |
Hi everyone - I recently bought a 2008 V318. I love the boat. ![]() I'm trying to figure out how to use the sofa in the cabin as a sleeper. I'm not talking about the aft cabin; I'm talking about the sofa to port as you step into the cabin. The owner's manual says there should be small filler cushions that fit into the back bottom of the sofa once you lift and pull the sofa forward. My boat didn't come with these filler cushions. Can anyone send me a pic of the cushions? Anything else you can tell me about using the sofa as a sleeper? There is an older post about the sleeper sofa on the V348 here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=461&start=0. This was helpful, but I'm looking for more information. I would love a photo of the sofa pulled out with filler cushions in place. Thanks. |

Thanks for the quick reply and the great pic! I wish I were as close in proximity to my boat. Mine is 3 hours away... Do you think 1 adult or maybe 2 smallish kids can sleep comfortably with the sofa pulled out like this? If the back cushions were taken off there would be more room, but then there would be the velcro and holes to deal with. I'm going to ask my dealer (MarineMax, not a Four Winns dealer) if they happen to have these cushions lying around. If not, I'll call a Four Winns dealer for availability and pricing on replacements. I'm not sure the cost will be worth it, but I can decide that after I know the price. |

Check under the seats in the back, that's where my cushions are. One adult can sleep anywhere, but two kids on there would be tough, unless they are real small. It's just not that wide and not long enough for end to end. Just my opinion. |

I definitely don't have the fill-in cushions, nor does the dealer. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can buy some? |

Get creative. Only a small kid can sleep there anyways. Fill it in with some towels in need be. It would only be for sleeping anyway. |

Mine were under the v-berth storage area. If you don't have them you can probably have some foam custom cut fairly reasonably. I'm sure Four Winns will want $400 bucks or something considering they wanted $1400 for a teak cockpit table top (no legs)! |
