After many anxious weeks, my 258 is in! :D :D . They are finishing the bottom paint today and we will pick it up on Saturday. The forecast is not promising but we will do our best to get it in the water. I will post pictures as soon as I can. Just in time for the long weekend.

Thanks to a friend at the dock, here are pictures of our new baby. Up to 10 hours. Of course, we launched in the rain.

I really like the way FW designed the swim platform integrated into the hull as opposed to the bolt on ESP on earlier models! REally a nice looking boat! Enjoy!

In a world of mostly white boats, the black really stands out.

Anybody notice in the last pic there are 3, possibly 4 FW's in a row?

It is 3 FW's in a row.... and the marina is not even a FW dealer !

The truly integrated swim platform was one of the features that attracted me to the boat. I love the look and would expect most other manufacturers to follow suit in short order.

Anyone have any guidance on flexi-teak care and maintenance? We only have it on the platform.

Bren,

Because you can save a brazillian dollars (and that's a lot) by taking out a window! :)

At least I always say that at work, deploying six thousand new Dell PC's they make all the cords about 6' too short.. But that 6' times 6 million machines and they just saved a brazillian! :)
