Anyone know where the other screws are to remove the front panel for access to the water tank vent? I have a bad feeling they are under the mirror. 1999 258 Vista ![]() |

The mirror is usually held by brackets. You should be able to slide it up and off with no issue. At least on my 248, that's how it was mounted. I now have a flat screen there. Good luck. |

Thanks Tony. That would be a good place for the flat screen. Always an option. |

The mirror lifts off two brackets. You must remove the arch trim (L-brackets hold it) and lamp above the mirror, then wrestle the bulkhead panel out; it _will_ come out. On my '99 Vista, the water tank vent is under carpeting on the starboard bow, ahead of the bulkhead panel. A razor-knife brought access to the inside of the vent. |
