Post subject:  318/338/358 Cabin Steps

On the newer style Vista wide body cruisers, the cabin steps look like they are made of a soft wood. While looking through many boats for sale I can see how easily they can get chewed up. My Jack Russell is going to tear these steps up if I don't do something before she gets on the boat.

Any suggestions?

Canvas covers with snaps on the underside. elastic will stretch and someone will slip.

Maybe SeaDek might work? It would have good grip at least.
