There are a few of now that have 318's. and I have been working on mods the last 1 1/2 years. I thought I would start a thread with the mods I have done and would like to see what others have done.

So here goes,

This is the faucet I switched out. The one it came with had a button in the center you had to push and hold to get any water out of it. I sucked for washing your hands, it really sucked for showering. this is a regular shower/ sink faucet it should have had.

You've got to post a link to what you bought. My V318 just got picked up and is headed home now, and one of the few dislikes it has the same head faucet as the 268...

Makrolon front windshield connector. We rarely take off the fronts, and the center unzips and pulls back and snaps open. Easy access. Great improvement in visibility.

Grill mount on my platform Rail system. I used some custom wakeboard tower speaker mounts and modified them. A center post in the grill allmost me to keep everything secured and upright.

I love this mod!! I just priced out getting those same panels replaced last week, and completely forgot about this mod that you did. Makrolon looks like it's priced affordable but I bet it's the forming and labor that gets expensive.

The closet door was hinged opposite to this new. Always hard to get into, so I flipped the door.

The windshield connector was a 5 pc isinglass to a 3 pc strata glass
Also went withe the Polk speakers

Water tank refill. I just pull the hatch on the floor, open the valve and this fills the tank. Using the deck fill fitting is a pita!

That opens to a transom seat.

Nicer bow cushions. Used sunbrella vs vinyl.

Added the lower vents for the cockpit fridge

Cover for the shorepower cords and hose. What a difference, no tangling.

Jeff,
I am glad to see that trailer being put to good use! I hope that it is working well for you. Your boat looks good on it. Have a great summer of boating...we are splashing today (have been traveling alot for work) so this is our first weekend out! Looking forward to it immensely.

What did you use to cover your shore power cords...that is something I need to do.

Bob,

trailer is working great. Only used it once last year.

Here is the covers I used, and unfortunatly you need 2 of them for a 50" cord
