Hi Everyone , i just buy a 288 , 2008 with 43 hours on engine. Last week end i see the light for the galvanic isolator blink sometime . I inform the marina about this problem and after the check-up he told me everytrhing is fine with the ac . So when i boating on the lake my wife told me i see the red light blinking , but i dont have 120 volts plugged . I dont understand nothing with that. If someone have anny issue is realy appreciated. My boat is on fresh water on lake Champlain , New York. Another problem, my indicator light for fresh water and waste dosent work well he just work when is time to see the red one. Thank you

Mine does the same. That is normal when you are not on shore power.

Good luck with the new boat!

When I bought my 2006 278 the tank monitoring system did not work. Xintex had introduced a new type of tank sender so I bought a pair, calibrated and installed them. Has worked ever since then. I did not replace the display.

If yours are Xintex (Fireboy) this link will illustrate the sender units and it refers to the new technology http://www.fireboy-xintex.com/liquid-level-monitors.htm

I agree that a red flashing light for the Guest Galvanic Isolator means that the shore power is disconnected - a steady red indicates a fault internal to the unit.

JFair,

My Xintex sensors (holding and water)have been screwed up for last 3 years. I have the 2006 348vista. Interested in trying the newer sensor. How long have you gone with the new sensor without having a problem?

Thanks
Eric

I can't trace the purchase date of my sensors but it was at least a year and less than 2 years. There are no floats or moving parts so there's nothing to collect sludge and I haven't had to remove them for cleaning.

I put them in my 268 and had it for two years with no issues.
