Any tips for cleaning this filter which is located behind the air return? Seems like it's held in place by a couple of wires. |

My 298 had two filters. One was on the actual return vent and the other was on the Cruiseair unit. For the one on the return vent, you just pulled the actual return vent off and then removed the filter screen. It just snapped in. The one on the unit just lifts up and out, no attached wires. |

On my 348 the filter grille assembly pops out. If I recall correctly it's just the grille vanes, not the wood frame. You can then slide the foam screen out of that grille and wash it. I rinse mine with plain water about once a month when the AC is being used. |
