Hi,

I'm new to forum and looking to buy a 268. I sold my 18' openbow late last summer and looking to buy a larger boat by spring. I have a slip in a yacht club so i need the boat. there are a few Vista 268 and Chaparral 270 and Many Sea Ray's. Looking for recommendations, what to look for, should i be looking for larger boats. It's 2 adults and 2 kids (8-10). Boating out of the Boston harbor, Islands, Wingaersheek beach, ...etc. May a trip to the cape. Planning to spend weekends, maybe try a a longer trips ..etc.

Thought? feedback recommendation?

WTB, prefer single owner, freshwater, between 2007 - 2014.

The new Vista 255 OB is awesome but $$$$.

Welcome!

I only have experience with bow riders. Currently own a 2012 FW H260. I prefer the interior layout of the Vista series over Chaparral just based on the few I've been on. We almost purchased a 2016 Chap 307 SSX but then backed out. The fit and finish of both Four Winns and Chaparrals are very similar in my opinion.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Maybe the Vista folks will see this thread.

Not sure if you would be interested but we are going to be putting are 2000 268 on the market soon. We have loved the boat and want to move up in the fourwinns line. My boat is loaded with tons of upgrades including Seadek threw out new canvas its on a trailer and its been in fresh water we are located in western Mass.

You won’t find a 268 made in 2007 or newer, the models all changed..... I love My 2002 Vista 268, but would love to go to a 318 or larger
