Hello all,

Had a great Labor Day boating weekend down at Norris Lake. A buddy of mine from Nashville boated with us and has the serious bug to find something for next season. He loves my 2005 H230. If you know of any nice 23-26 foot Horizons or SLs within 200 miles or so from Nashville--I'll be keeping my eyes open for him.

Hope everyone had a great holiday! Thanks!

Not a FW, but these are one of the best built boats in that size. Awesome, smooth ride on this hull.
Not sure what his price range is.
Bryant 246

Or maybe a slightly older 230 Horizon.

Or 2009 SL222 ???

Regal anyone ???

Another nice boat, Chap 236 SSx

Not saying any of these is a "deal" and/or are better than any other boat, but it's a few to
consider in his general area.

Thanks Cap'N! Funny--my buddy was scoping out a Bryant on the water this weekend and he has specifically mentioned FWs and Chaps to me as boats he has had his eye on.

You're welcome. It sound's like your buddy has a good idea what boats to consider. If that Bryant 246 has been well taken care of, he will be impressed with it I'm sure. It's one of Bryant's best selling models for good reason. Of these boats, only the Four Winns and Chap have a head, if that is important to him.
Good luck to him, and let us know if and when he makes a decision..

Yea--he has three young kids--so I think a bathroom might be on the list. Thanks again--good list to start with.

There is a possibility of us selling our 2009 SL242, we keep it at Lewis Smith lake about an hour south of Huntsville. Low hours, clean and loaded, I have to do some investigating as I have no clue of its value. Also need to discuss with the better half, thinking of going up a couple feet in length.

Thanks--If you send me the specs and some pics--I'll share them with my friend, Dave. I'm going to suggest he registers on this site too while he does his search.
