Giving some thought to stepping up. There don't seem to be many of the 2000+ 248's out there. Looking on boat trader within 250 miles from columbus, Ohio. Does anyone have any search tips or know of someone selling? |

Go for a 268. Not much more $$$, but more room where its needed. |

I agree with fire, go bigger. I had a 248, it was a great boat but for the same $ you can get 268 and 2 more feet |

+3. Skip the 248 and go for a 268/278. You won't regret it. It's been for sale for quite awhile, not positive but Woggy may still have his 248 if you have your heart set on one. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7235 |

I did read his post some time ago and wondered if it was sold! That would have been the perfect fit for us!! Trying to keep in my budget but also dont want to be changing boats again in the near future. I have seen that the pricing on 268's are, in most cases, about the same as 248. I know that my family would enjoy the extra space for sure. Just wondering if it is even worth looking at a boat this big, if it doesnt have B3 drive?? I would prefer Merc since I am already familiar with them. By no means am I a mechanic! |

I was on another vacation all weekend. I can't own a 205. On paper it's LOA is 23'. I'm limited to 22' LOA. Even if I take the swim platform off and make it a 21ft boat, they'll go by the paper spec. Really leaning towards a Monterey 218 LSC or a newer 214 LSC. Both fit the 22ft rule and have sitting head room inside (where as the stingray does not) Sorries. 205SD is my favorite out of any cuddy, but they had to market it as a freaking 23ft boat even though it's 21. |

What does the REGISTRATION say on the 205 for length? I know my 260 says 25 ft 8 inches on the registration, but LOA is 28 feet. |
