Post subject:  For Sale - 2004 Four Winns Funship 214
The wife purchased this boat two years ago as our first boat. Boating was not as fun as we envisioned. Would like to get $22,000 for boat and trailer. Boat is in good condition. There is "scratch" on one side from our inexperience at the dock. 5.0 Mercruiser inboard. Bravo One drive. Bimini top. Custom cover. Lots of seating and storage. Has an enclosed head/storage area.

Apparently I typed this ad without knowing how to post pictures.

No worries about pictures, you likely will not sell the boat on this board anyway. Just add a link to your add, and that should be fine.

Ok, I have to ask, boating not fun? Its none of my business and Im surly not going to try and diswade you, but I wondering whats not fun about it?

If its your "inexpereince at the dock", I can assure you each and everyone of us has been there. There is a bit of a learning curve, and 2 years while it seems like long enough might not be if you have been avoiding it due to that. Trailering, anchoring, all of it took me quite awhile until I was well versed.

I once pulled a boat out of the water on the trailer with the drive down and the engine still running :shock: I have definatly made my fair share, and probly sombody elses fair share of mistakes.

We have learned alot, met alot of great people, seen waters, marinas and towns we might not have otherwise have seen. I wouldnt trade it.

Boat looks great, just get the scratch touched up by someone who knows how to gelcoat. Boatings fun but not for everyone. Here in salt water they are a LOT of work. Sometimes I feel like selling it and buying a hot rod....
