My boat is red and the wife really wanted a yellow one, but i could not pass up the price we got on ours. There is a 2008 yellow H200ss for sale not to far from me. Waiting to see what they will do on trade and what options that one has. Just checked NADA and average retail is $30,370. This is why I am curious why they have there 2008 listed at $28,995.

A dealer that refused to take a trade?

Sounds like a dealer that is barely staying afloat. Not taking trades probably won't help them sell many boats.

Yeah I think they are in trouble if not taking trades. Dealer told me they where trying to clear out inventory and that is why the boat was such a deal.

I stopped in to my local dealer today, and it's still there! I can't believe it, Chris the owner can't believe it, the factory cant believe it. Want a new SS200? Leftover 2007, and he's asking well under $30k for it now! Sooooo tempting.......

We decided to keep what we have for now. Have another baby on the way so buying another boat is not a good idea. I almost went for the Yellow 08, but the place refused to take any trades in.

Guys, in this economy, the dealer is most likely trying to reduce his floor plan $$$. Either because the bank is charging him penalties for being over extended, or the interest is killing him. I am in the Acura business and I KNOW of a local dealer here that to have his floor plan below 5 million by the end of 2008 or his bank was going to start HUGE penalties to him.

Getting back to topic........................ Dealer here in Portage Michigan still has a new '07 20' SS in yellow for sale, under $30k!! They're great people to deal with. Only reason I'd plug someone on a forum.

I am sure there is still room to move on that price. Just bought a 2009 200SS pretty much loaded with the wakeboard tower...for not much more than your "great people" are asking for a 2007.

That's what I'd have to have if I bought it, the tower! They're about 2 grand, how close to $28k were you able to get that '09 with the tower option??

Very close...plus I have the 5.7 - 300hp. I am not going to give out exact numbers. But if your dealer needs that off his lot...he needs to lower the price some.

This boat is still in the showroom. We stopped in today looking at tubes, and was surprised to see the Yellow SS 200 still there. Never touched water. I think he's at $28,500 asking right now.
