I am looking for the two sections of a the bow rail for my 2002 Sundowner 205. The previous owner threw the anchor over the top and bend it down. It looks kind of goofy now and I expect that it will break if any weight gets put on in.

Try calling a welder and see how much it would cost to have them fix or replace it. You might be able to just bend it back with some heat. Too much heat will discolor or weaken the stainless so it needs to be done properly. A welder can probably fabricate a new section and weld it in if they can't bend it back.
The only other thing I can think of is http://greatlakesskipper.com/ and the dealer.

Well... the rail part #'s are
031-0641 port side
031-0642 starboard side

Example:

It's the same rail from 1996 to 2002, so eh.. you might find something in the used market in a couple of years worth of searching. Or just get new ones made from a local metalworker, shouldn't take but a few minutes to bend up a new piece of SS tubing.

Personally? Unbolt em and fill the holes. I hate that style bow railing it looks so dumb on cuddy cabins.

If they are not kinked they should go back without much trouble.

I am on board with going to a welding shop. The right guy will either fix it or order new tube and make a new rail. The stock length of tube he has to order is likely much longer than what you need, but likely cheaper than an oem replacement.

Good luck.... And post a pic of the damage if you get a chance.

I found a local welder t o do this repair. The tubes were kinked, so he had to cut the rail and weld in a new stainless steel section. He removed the whole bow rail to do the welding. I guess getting to the interior nuts was a real project.
